● From order to store

How it works

Everything from your order to the store, in order. Your part is only the first step; the system does the rest.

Step by step

  1. You place the order

You place your order and send your project (.zip or Git link) and your store account key: an App Store Connect API key for Apple, a Google Play service account for Android. The app's store record must exist.

  2. The project is checked

Its type is recognised (Flutter, React Native, Unity, Capacitor/Ionic, Cordova, Swift, Xcode, Android Studio) and the devices it can ship to are found. Signing and setup problems are caught before the build; those that can be fixed are fixed for you.

  3. Your project is built in a protected space

iOS builds are made on an Apple M6 Mac mini. Every job is built in its own separate space and never mixes with another project. When the job ends the build space is deleted; nothing of your project stays on the machine.

  4. Signing is prepared for you

The distribution certificate and profiles are created in your own account with the key you gave. The build number goes up every time; the version is set so the build shows first on TestFlight. Your project itself is not changed.

  5. It is built and uploaded

iOS builds go to TestFlight (App Store Connect); Android builds go to the Google Play track you chose.

  6. The store processes it

Apple processes the build within minutes and it is ready on TestFlight; the account holder gets a TestFlight invitation. On Google Play the build goes out on the chosen track.

  7. Your files are delivered

The IPA (a PKG for a Mac app; on Android the AAB and an APK that installs on a phone), the signing files (.p12 and its password, or the upload key) and the dSYM come to you in an encrypted zip. Build files are kept for 7 days.

Questions

I don't have a Mac. Is that a problem?

No. iOS builds are made on our Apple M6 Mac mini; you do not need a Mac.

Which devices can I build for?

Apple: iPhone and iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro. Android: phone and tablet, Android TV, Wear OS, Android Automotive, Android XR. Every device you choose is a separate build.

Who creates the certificate?

The system creates it in your own account with the App Store Connect API key you gave. If your account already holds two distribution certificates, a .p12 is needed.

Who creates the app record?

You do, in App Store Connect or Play Console. Apple and Google do not allow a new app record to be created through their API.

What if my code has an error?

You are told clearly what it is and how to fix it; a failed build does not use a credit. Fixing code errors is a separate service.

How long does it take?

Building and uploading usually take a few minutes. Delivery is within 1 day at most.

Do I get my IPA and signing files?

Yes. The IPA, the .p12 and its password are ready when the order is done: if you use the panel you download them yourself; if you ordered through a marketplace, your provider delivers them to you as a zip.
